To be more clearer, how about adding custom implemented function to shown weather in taskbar. You can use openweather api. will be incredible and more efficient

love 3.8, 3.8.1 not tested, but there s problems with EverythingToolbar the size of the searchbox is not retained. it resets at explorer restart.

win+number shortcut seems not work right when enhanced classic taskbar enabled.

as those gif ,when i press win + 1,it should be just take edge browser to foreground, but it is minimize now.

,Only Central segment doesn't work correctly for me. I have SAB 3.8.1, W11 22H2. I suppose that the SysTray will be hidden. @Tihiy what is the right behaviour?

Hi, noticed very distracting bug...in 3.8.x version when doing something (in this example in TC) like calculating sha1 on large dir etc., progress line in taskbar does not reset after it is finished or canceled.

It stays like in attached bug.png forever (or until minimized to tray->restored):

...when in fact it should be like in attached Nobug.png, as soon as progress is canceled/finished (because nothing is copying/progressing/doing anymore)

Only tested version 3.7.11 for a short time before, as I remember in that version this bug was not present.

As of version 3.8.1 I do not get discord notification banners on the desktop when I get a new message. I've had this happen on both of my PCs and if I uninstall startallback then I begin to see the notifications again. Thanks!

Is it possible to implement a feature (not asking you to actually code it and release it - just if it is actually possible using the new implementation of the taskbar to do so) that allows to place taskbar icons anywhere on the taskbar?
Kind of like this concept: Imagine each square is a taskbar icon and it is not restricted to where you put it (doesn't have to be next to other pins but I am imagine must be in a grid that allows for equal gaps between the apps).

Sorry if it is the wrong place to ask!
I explained it a bit funky, I am just curious as to if it is actually possible to do that.

Hi, I noticed a problem.

First of all I use StartAllBack 3.8.1 on fully updated Windows 11 Pro 23H2.

The problem is with the EA app. When I try to open this app it doesn't open, it just stays in the taskbar with blank miniature. I am attaching a screenshot of what it looks like exactly. The app only works when I click on it in the taskbar after a while but when I disable "enhanced taskbar" everything start working as it should and the EA app open normally. I'm convinced this strange behavior started when I updated StartAllBack to 3.8.1 because this issue didn't happen before on version 3.7.11 - Is there any way to fix this or any chance of fixing this issue in one of the future StartAllBack updates? I would be very grateful for that.

I'm integrated latest SAB 3.8.1 into win11 24H2 b1301 image (also tested with w11 23H2 b3880) with setupcomplete.cmd (/elevated /silent) , file explorer shortcut is gone from taskbar

 

file explorer shortcut back again if i uninstall SAB

please fix.

Just wanted to ask you about one nitpick I have, and it is eating at me as an OLED tv user with pixel shift active and registered here for that sole purpose. I don't know if you know this but OLEDs with pixel shift option (or other names with same effect) shifts entire screen a few pixels in every direction once in a while to prevent burn in for stationary elements on screen. Now when this happens, usually whole screen shifts down a few pixels and to the side a few pixels as well, and before it all returns back to normal, the taskbar misses the very bottom portion, which also includes the bar that highlights open apps. So, most of the time I have the taskbar open (unhidden) I am missing the bar highlight below the open apps, and I would like to know if you could add an OLED tv option for the taskbar to enlarge it, like only adding to its width or adding only to the width of highlight bar itself perhaps? I would really appreciate this QoL addition to an otherwise perfect program
