It can be done if you use newer itunes version. refer to my tutorial

The OP asked about 7, not 8.1. The latest version works only on 8.1 (maybe) and 10.

The old version, I'm afraid, won't suffice for the updated 15 Pro with iOS 18.

Thanks, unfortunately, I don't have iPhone at all, especially that old. And from my GF's iPhone 16 Pro Max, connected to her PC, it didn't work.

We don't even get the same error as users in your tutorial already pointed out. It simply hangs up. But thanks.

I just installed iTunes 12.11.3.17 using the method linked and it works perfectly with my iPhone 15 on the latest iOS.

That includes my iPhone showing up in Windows Explorer and being able to drag and drop my pictures and videos off.

What OS is this? Why does it look like it's in SAFE Mode? No Aero, I mean. Windows 7 has Aero (similar to Vista's).

That's the Windows 7 classic theme with a custom color scheme.

Or could be Windows 8 with a custom classic theme and colour scheme from Windows 7.

It's Windows 7 with the classic theme and a custom dark colour scheme.

With all due respect, looks not pleasant to my eye.

I appreciate this post.

*Sigh* It looks like there's no easy workaround without a Windows 10 PC here. Apple just did not give the iphone 15 pro the drivers to work properly with Windows 7, so I just had to use a Windows 10 PC to transfer files.
