techguy21801 Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 hi yall,i think i know the answer already but i'm gonna double check anywaysgot a pc that will boot up and run fine, and shutdown fine, but, after shuting down if i try to tuirn it back on, the system will power up but will not post or anything, i then have to switch the ps switch on then off, and try again and it boots. sounds like a bad psu to me , does anyone concur?thx specs of the box:msi k7n2delta (brand new install)1gb kingmax pc3200athlon 2000+ xp socket apsu allied 400watt dual fan

techguy21801 Posted April 9, 2005 Author Posted April 9, 2005 hmmm....well after switching out another identical working psu, and still having the problem, think i have fixed it, it seems to have been the fsb was not recognizing correctly and/or the board was grounding out. well at least it's fixed if that did but i was afraid i'd have to sacrifice a goat or something over it
